Sea Otter Classic Success

Amber wins Sea Otter Classic-CAT 3 Women’s Race
Amber Vredenburg 18, of Round Rock, Texas headed out to the Sea Otter Classic to test her skills against the top field in Monterey, CA. While she trains in Round Rock with Coach Boris of T3Multisports Elite Junior Cycling, she races for Team TIBCO Development Squad based in CA.

During the race Amber started out quickly and stayed in the lead pack throughout the race, with 4 laps to go she went on a solo breakaway to lead the field by 13 seconds until the final lap when the field closed in. She hung on in the field sprint to take 1st in the CAT 3 Women’s field.

Amber is a huge fan of State Wheels and attributes her success at Sea Otter to the light and fast State 38 wheels.

State Wheels to Support The Driveway Series

State Wheels is pleased to announce its 2011 partnership with The Driveway Series in Austin, TX – one of the country’s premiere weekly criterium series. As part of the agreement, State Wheels will sponsor the first two months of a mini-series as well as providing neutral wheel support for the entire race series, from mid-March to October.
